Younger You was delighted to host its first reader event recently, in association with skin care gurus Dermalogica. YY subscribers and their guests were treated to a “Skin Savvy” seminar at Dermalogica HQ in St Leonards, Sydney, accompanied by bubbles, canapes and gift bags. Dermalogica Senior Training Specialist Charlotte Brockett gave a lively and informative presentation about the enviornmental assaults our skins suffer along with the natural ageing process but how, with a diligent skin care regimen and the right products for our individual needs, we can stay younger longer. A team of Dermalogica therapists showed our guests an array of products; what best suited their skin types and individual need and how to use them. No one was shy! The evening culinated in guests being invited to experience Dermalogica’s signature “skin mapping” process to identify their specific needs. It may be a cliche but a good time was indeed had by all!
